About Us
I was raised in Flathead Valley. My earliest memories involve hunting, fishing, and living to get outdoors to play in the mountains and brisk Montana waters. My love of working with my hands came at a young age helping my dad in his taxidermy shop and sewing with my great grandmother. My Father was an avid outdoorsman, taxidermist, gunsmith and machinist who would look at something and then just ‘go build it’. The electives I gravitated toward in school were welding, shop class, pottery, jewelry and anything I could choose to be able to ‘make something’. Following Highschool I entered the dental field and spent 25 years in Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
My enjoyment of working with my hands and my undying passion for the outdoors, fly fishing and the water manifested my excitement to begin my business in fabrication of boat covers, enclosures, bimini tops, wall tents and select outdoor gear. I understand the importance of functional, high quality, durable covers & gear needed to withstand the elements of the extreme weather conditions in Montana. I attended Boat Canvas University in Maryland in April 2024 with a continuation of boat canvas course work in Florida.
